Welcome to the Elkins House
The George B. and Susan Elkins House is one of Brooklyn’s most famous icons.
This 1850s wood-frame villa is the oldest in Crown Heights - an Individually Designated Landmark and recorded as the last remaining country villa in Crown Heights Historic District by the National Registry of Historic Places. It's a rare architectural link to Brooklyn's forgotten farmland past.

Saved from ruin and imminent destruction to undergo a stunning transformation: the Elkins House underwent a meticulous four-year restoration and is now back to its historical elegance and glory.
